A note from our founder:

"Alexander Clementine was founded to shake up the fashion industry, to disrupt an industry that causes so much detriment. We started making underwear from Icelandic seaweed, an item that couldn’t be bought secondhand that was carbon neutral and biodegradable. Underwear that maintained the natural properties of seaweed; naturally antibacterial, anti odour, temperature regulating and hypoallergenic.

We soon discovered that our underwear was helping those going through the most difficult of times. Aiding the recovery of women experiencing breast cancer, menopause, nerve damage and more. Then it hit closer to home, with my mother experiencing breast cancer for the second time with a mastectomy to follow. In a time when you feel most helpless, our underwear was the only thing that she could wear on her way to recovery, and she wasn’t the only one.

We decided we have a unique opportunity to help those going through the most difficult times. To work alongside surgeons, leading experts and charities to ergonomically develop specialist bras with our incredibly unique fabric."
